When life gives you lemons, drink Limoncello 🛳️🍋😂 Ideally in Sorrento of course!! 🇮🇹 CONFESSION There are times I stay on the ship when we’re in port - and I really enjoy it…. 🤫 But there was no way I was going to miss out on visiting the Amalfi coast on our recent cruise onboard Sun Princess 🛳️ It’s been a dream of mine to see Sorrento & Positano for at least a decade. Our small group excursion with @shoreexcursionsgroup did not disappoint 👏 When we walked out of the Naples cruise port, we met our driver & the other guests (total 7). He had a sign with our name, so he was easy to find! Our excursion brought us to a lookout with a stunning view of the Amalfi coast 🤩 I took advantage of getting a lemon sorbet topped with Limoncello - not a bad start 🍋 We then went to Positano. It was so picturesque & walkable. There’s no shortage of quaint cafes, gorgeous shops & photo opportunities 😉 Next we enjoyed the afternoon in Sorrento & had a great recommendation by our driver for a lovely local restaurant. The pizza & pasta were so fresh & delicious 😋 I couldn’t resist a bit of shopping before heading back to the ship. There was some taste testing involved & I have no regrets 😀 Pistachio cookies, truffle oil, dried pasta & lemon candies were just some of the souvenirs (& memories) I brought home 🥰 QUESTION - Did we get back to the ship on time? Yes! I’m a cautious traveller so I did my research.
