The free official ad libraries: Meta, Google & TikTok (2026)

Every platform now has a free, official ad library — Meta, Google Ads Transparency Center and TikTok Creative Center. What each shows, what it doesn’t, and how to use them together.

Updated October 16, 2026

Every major platform now runs a free, official ad library for transparency: Meta’s Ad Library (Facebook + Instagram), Google’s Ads Transparency Center (search, display, YouTube) and TikTok’s Creative Center. Each covers only its own platform and shows ad creatives, not store data. Here’s what each gives you.

All three platform libraries are free and official. AdLibrarySpy is a free tool that adds store context on top of Meta’s public ads.

What they all share — and lack

  • Each shows active ad creatives for its own platform, free and official.
  • None shows store context — traffic, products, prices, apps or pixels.
  • None shows commercial spend or performance (except Meta’s EU reach/spend ranges).
  • For Facebook + Instagram with the store behind each ad, AdLibrarySpy adds that context free.

Questions

Are the official ad libraries free?
Yes. Meta’s Ad Library, Google’s Ads Transparency Center and TikTok’s Creative Center are all free, official and need no login. Each covers only its own platform.
Which one shows Facebook and Instagram ads?
Meta’s Ad Library — Instagram ads run through Meta, so it covers both. It shows active ads, the creative and start date, plus reach and spend ranges for EU-targeted ads.
Do the official libraries show store or performance data?
No — they show ad creatives only, no store traffic, products or performance. AdLibrarySpy adds that context on top of the same public Meta ads, for free.
How should I use them together?
Use Meta’s library (or AdLibrarySpy for added store context) for Facebook/Instagram, Google’s Transparency Center for search and YouTube, and TikTok’s Creative Center for TikTok — one per channel your competitors use.
